| I got back from my TDY last week and the next day my shop went to 12 hour shifts . IT has not been that bad I stand around all night. Tonight I was only only one in my cast to be at work so I got to run things. basicly I just sat around and chilled I did finish a insp and I help Red Cast with their cams jobs but that was it. Next week we are on 12 again to But I don't have to come in on Friday cuz I am going to the christmas party. I got a really nice dress for the pary it is a black tie event or MESS dress if you wear your uniform. I hate my MESS dress So I got a really nice dress and shoes to wear. Now I just have to get my hair and nails done an I should be good. | | |
| Yesterday was crazy. Sommer and I got our order to go to Texas. We had to pick them up and go to this briefing about the TDY and where we are staying and and how are are getting there and all that. We are getting 135 dollars a day for food and and hotel. We are staying at billeting so it is only going to be like 15 dollars a night, and the chow hall is only like 5 dollars a meal. We had to run around yesterday it out process the squadron and all that.
Today we are working weekend duty. I am just sitting at a desk entering and filing maintenance history records. it is really boring. The others are painting and cleaning the floors so I guess I have the better job.
Last night at work Sommer had to stay late to finish up some paper work and Torres wouldn't let us talk cuz then we don't work. we couldn't even look at each other. Like this one time I was talking to her in her office and when they started looking for me and when I trying to sneak out of her office Torres was waiting for me and starting yelling that he would brake my arm so I couldn't go to TX with her. He didn't rally mean it he was just giving me a hard time. (like he always does) | | |
| today I am painting at work. we have to paint blue trim white. They don't what us to strip the blue off so it is making a big mess and the blue is smearing all over. We had PT today and had to run and do push up and sit ups in the rain. that was a mess cuz the ground was all wet and we were doing it in the mud. | | |
| Well I am not deploying any more but I am going TDY at the end of the month. I am going to San Antonio for 3 weeks. It will be good to get back state side for a while. I passed my CDC test with 72 so I am happy about that, now I can get my 5 level and progress in my job. I hit my 2 year mark in December and not to get it around that time looks really bad. I got my DCUs yesterday I don't really know why they gave them to me cuz I am not going down range any more. I just got a new supervisor a SGT Tremmel. I don't know him that well and he will be big change from Gonzales. I am sure he will be good. He knows the job and has lots of experience and all that. He also stands up for people so that is good. | | |
| OK there is a ton of stuff going on right now. On Thursday I have a CDC test (part 2 of a the test) The last part I got a 78% so I should do good on this part. Also the big news on the 22nd I was told that there was a 90% chance that I could deploy soon. We are just waiting on the Pentagon to approve the movement. Once that comes down I will have 96 hours to get every thing done, packed, and on a plane out of here. We have started pre-deployment lines to get chem gear and shots and start all the paper work and every thing. I hope we don't go until after the 3rd cuz I really don't want to spend my birthday in the desert. | | |
